Arkoslight cuts a clean silhouette with award-winning new products.

Introducing two sleek new products from Spanish lighting brand Arkoslight – the Up floor lamp and Alaska pendant series. Create graphic lines throughout your interior with these minimalist lighting solutions, perfect for contemporary homes, offices and commercial spaces.

Both Up and Alaska are designed by Rubén Saldaña and have already taken home a 2021 Red Dot Award for Product Design, taking into account their aesthetic appeal as well as their outstanding performance.

Alaska is inviting yet understated, conceptualised as a jewel of suspended light. Constructed from a single piece of solid glass and with a delicately hand-polished interior, Alaska is designed to be a modern reinterpretation of the classic, old-fashioned filament bulb. The Alaska pendant’s graphic ceiling canopy and suspension wires add a certain geometric appeal to interiors, complementing a wide range of modern interior trends such as black steel windows and monochrome marble.

The Up floor lamp creates a stratospheric lighting effect which immerses the ceiling plane, drawing attention towards high ceilings, cornices and other key facets of interior architecture. It can be nestled away into the corners of a room, uniting the interior with its over-arching illumination and making it appear more spacious and inviting. Its sober appearance makes it ideal for modern corporate spaces including offices, boardrooms and circulation areas. Soon to be available in both black and white textured finishes, the Up floor lamp can also blend into white walls to create an unobtrusive yet tangible lighting effect.

From the 22nd of June this year, Up and Alaska will be featured in the “Design on Stage” exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany amongst other prestigious Design Award winners. Up and Alaska will become available to order soon, along with a brand new Arkoslight 2021 catalogue - and more new products to come!
